The classic fifth album by guitar virtuoso Masayoshi Takanaka has been remastered from the original master tapes using high-resolution sources, then mastered and cut by Alex Wharton at Abbey Road Studios (engineer for Paul McCartney & Wings and The Chemical Brothers).
Originally released on December 1, 1979, this tropical fusion landmark includes the breakout hit Blue Lagoon (widely known from Pioneer commercials), Radio Rio featuring Ryuichi Sakamoto, the vocal spotlight Parallel Turn, and the emotive guitar piece Rainy Day Blue.
