Product Description

Celebrate the legacy of guitarist Masayoshi Takanaka with definitive remasters of T-WAVE, alone, and The Rainbow Goblins, cut at Abbey Road Studios, London from high-resolution transfers of the original master tapes. This first pressing features 180g heavyweight color vinyl that complements each album’s artwork: T-WAVE in clear orange, The Rainbow Goblins in clear purple, and alone in clear deep blue.

The Rainbow Goblins — Takanaka’s seventh studio album (originally released March 10, 1981) — is a concept work inspired by Ul de Rico’s picture book. It has been remastered and half-speed cut by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios for superior clarity and dynamics, and is pressed on 180g clear purple vinyl.

T-WAVE and alone are remastered and cut by Abbey Road engineer Alex Wharton, known for work with Paul McCartney & Wings and The Chemical Brothers, delivering pristine sound faithful to the original recordings.
