Product Description

This torque wrench combines two fixed-torque, open-end wrench heads — 1/4" and 3/8" — on a single handle, for tightening flare nut connections when installing or servicing air conditioner and refrigeration lines. Each head is preset to a single torque value — there is no adjustment dial. The wrench heads have a wear-resistant forged tip.

The handle is shaped to keep a consistent gap between two of these wrenches when used together in pairs — one holding the fitting body steady while the other tightens the flare nut, the standard technique for preventing the copper tube from twisting. This spacing prevents the handles from colliding during use. The handle also has a marked grip line indicating the leverage point.

Ships with a calibration certificate verifying the torque settings. A carrying case is not included with this model; TASCO offers a separate version with a carrying case (TA771WT-23S).
