Product Description

This external power adapter is designed for mobile radio and in-vehicle equipment, supporting a wide DC input range of 12–16 V and delivering a stable DC 11–16 V output for reliable operation. It features a maximum output current of 2.0 A, suitable for powering compatible communication devices and accessories.

At a 12–16 V input under load, the input current is approximately 2.1 A, with an estimated voltage drop of about 3 V at a 2 A load. The unit comes equipped with a Yaesu cigarette lighter plug and is the successor model to the Yaesu external power adapter E-DC-5B.
