The ReFa ION CARE BRUSH is a scalp-cleaning brush by MTG designed to be used during shampooing, while hair and scalp are wet. Brushing daily as part of your shampoo routine helps clear buildup from the scalp's pores. The bristles reach into small gaps between hair strands that fingers alone can't easily access, helping cleanse each strand of hair as you shampoo.

To use, rest the brush tip lightly against the scalp and move it slowly from the hairline toward the crown. Avoid circular or large sweeping motions, which can cause tangling, particularly with curly or permed hair. The brush can also be used while blow-drying, though its main use is with shampoo or conditioner in the shower.

MTG describes the brush as featuring an ion-generating plate built into its center. The brush requires no battery or charging, is fully passive, and is waterproof for shower use.
