This 40Vmax power kit includes two 4.0Ah batteries (BL4040), the DC40RA fast charger, and a stackable Makpac system case (Type 2) for convenient transport and storage.

The DC40RA fast charger features Makita’s original Smart System, which automatically optimizes charging to extend overall battery life. It also offers one USB output port (2.4A) for charging mobile devices.

Approximate charging time for a 4.0Ah battery is about 45 minutes for a full charge and about 31 minutes for a practical charge. The Makpac Type 2 system case measures approximately 395 mm (W) × 295 mm (D) × 157 mm (H).
