MN1005 is a lip and lower-face tracking device designed exclusively for VIVE Focus 3. Using a mono camera, it captures movement across 38 areas of the lower face, including the lips, jaw, chin, teeth, tongue, and cheeks, helping VR avatars display more natural-looking expressions and mouth movement.

When used with the HTC-provided SDK, the tracker can bring expressive facial gestures into compatible VR experiences with very low latency, helping mouth movement align closely with voice for more immersive communication, education, and creative applications.

Use requires downloading and using the SDK and runtime provided by HTC. It can also be combined with an eye tracker to support broader full-face tracking in compatible setups.
