Dandadan follows Momo Ayase, a high school girl from a family of spirit mediums, and her classmate Okarun, an occult enthusiast. Momo believes in ghosts but denies aliens, while Okarun believes in aliens but denies ghosts. To prove each other wrong, they visit separate paranormal hotspots and encounter terrifying phenomena beyond comprehension. As Momo awakens hidden powers and Okarun gains a cursed strength, the two face one supernatural threat after another in this fast-paced blend of occult action, comedy, and youthful romance.
