The story follows Momo Ayase, a high school girl from a family of spirit mediums, and her classmate Okarun, an occult enthusiast. Momo believes in ghosts but denies aliens, while Okarun believes in aliens but rejects ghosts. To prove each other wrong, they visit separate paranormal hotspots and encounter overwhelming phenomena beyond human understanding. As Momo awakens hidden powers and Okarun gains a cursed ability, the two face bizarre threats together as an unexpected romance begins to bloom.
