Dandadan begins with Momo Ayase, a high school girl from a family of spirit mediums, and her classmate Okarun, an occult fanatic. After a debate over ghosts and aliens, the two set out separately to prove each other wrong, only to encounter terrifying supernatural phenomena beyond imagination. As Momo awakens hidden powers and Okarun gains a cursed ability, they are drawn into a fast-paced story of occult battles, mystery, and unexpected romance.
