Cross The Bridge - The Anthology 1965-1999 (2CD)
Product Description
Two-CD anthology personally compiled by Keith West, spanning his career from the first 1965 recordings with Four + One to a 1999 version of Bob Dylan's Lay Lady Lay with guitarist Steve Howe. This landmark collection brings together the essential work of the acclaimed singer-songwriter in one definitive set.
Highlights include the UK No. 2 hit Excerpt From A Teenage Opera, its follow-up Sam (From A Teenage Opera), and six tracks by cult psychedelic favorites Tomorrow, including a newly discovered demo of their debut single My White Bicycle sourced from acetate. Also featured are all nine recordings by mod-soul group The In Crowd, including both sides of their four singles, the UK No. 48 hit That's How Strong My Love Is, an originally unreleased version of Finger Poppin', and two songs recorded for Michelangelo Antonioni's Blow-Up but ultimately unused.
CD 1 focuses on Keith West's 1960s recordings as his band evolved from Four + One to The In Crowd and finally Tomorrow, while CD 2 explores his lesser-known 1970s and 1980s material, revealing a rich catalogue of overlooked gems ready to be rediscovered.
