Some of the kanji and vocabulary have been changed to match the "Minna no Nihongo Beginner's Japanese I\, 2nd Edition\, Main Book". The book is designed to help students acquire the 218 kanji commonly used in daily life without difficulty\, in accordance with the sentence patterns and vocabulary studied in the book. Practice consists of "kanji sheets\," "reading practice\," and "writing practice\," with a "review test" every few lessons. The book is designed with a cut line and two holes\, and each sheet can be detached and used one at a time\, or filed away at the end.
