Product Description

This product is a cleaning tape designed for use with DVCAM. It is highly recommended to use a cleaning cassette to maintain stable video quality. Over time, VTRs can accumulate fine magnetic particles and dust from the tape surface and the VTR's interior, which can adhere to the video head. These particles and dust can prevent close contact between the head and the tape, leading to a decrease in image quality. In the worst-case scenario, this can cause head clogging, making recording and playback impossible. Additionally, it can scratch the video head, which in turn can scratch the tape surface and become a cause for dropout.

Usage Instructions

1. Do not leave the device in standby mode.
2. Only use the cleaning cassette in REC or PLAY mode to ensure proper cleaning effectiveness.
3. Once a section of the tape has been used, its cleaning capability diminishes. Therefore, replace it with a new cassette after full-length use.
4. If cleaning does not produce results after 5 or more uses, discontinue use of the cleaning cassette. In such cases, it is recommended to inspect the entire VTR for other potential issues.
