Product Description

Reproduction of the 200 Series K formation tag-teamed with the 400 Series! This model represents the K formation before it was renewed in the actual train. The Series 200 Shinkansen cars were developed for the Tohoku and Joetsu Shinkansen lines, which opened in 1982, and were designed to be more resistant to cold and snow due to the climate of the area where they operate. The K formation was designed to be used in conjunction with the Yamagata and Akita Shinkansen trains, and the 222 type of the lead car near Morioka was equipped with a coupling function. The K train is reproduced as it was before the renewal of the actual train. The lead car is reproduced in the 1500 series.
