Each piece is crafted from 18-0 stainless steel with black oxide coloring and a full matte finish, offering a timeless, basic silhouette that suits both daily use and special occasions. The black tone is a subtle ink black, with naturally occurring, very fine variations in shade from piece to piece.
The black oxide finish is not paint or plating; it is created by thickening the stainless steel’s natural passive oxide film to less than 1 μm, making the surface appear black through light refraction. This process enhances corrosion resistance while preserving the original metallic and matte texture, and it complies with food sanitation standards.
