Ordered a Japanese gooseneck kettle, was contacted by Wafuu customer service highlighting the power difference before posting. Not sure many other retailers would do the same.

We love this Balmuda goose neck electric kettle! The round base, the on/off lever, and light at the end of the handle all work beautifully. Such an elegant design! Shipping to Vancouver, Canada from WAFUU Japan was fast. No import duty issues. We would highly recommend this kettle and purchase via this company.

Very few kettles understand the nuances of pouring a cup of tea as well as The pot by Balmuda.
The way the water precisely exits the nozzle into the cup is purely therapeutic.
It is exceptionally stimulating and a great way to start the day. The little noise is produces when boiling the water is just an added bonus. The capacity is perfect for making to cups of teas.
My only criticism which absolutely does not take away from the overall experience is the location of the max capacity mark. Given it is located by the handle, filling up the kettle to the limit can be awkward at times.
That being said, we are thrilled with The Pot and also the service provided by Wafuu, we will be definitely buying from them again.
