Formed in 2005 in Saitama, the Japanese noise-pop and shoegaze band Shinda Boku no Kanojo returns with a new 5-track mini album, their first new release in five years, titled shaman's daughter. This release showcases their signature blend of dense guitar textures, dreamy melodies, and emotional atmospheres.

The mini album features the ending theme song “rebirth and karma” and the in-film track “winter reminds me of you” from the upcoming movie Shaman no Musume (directed by Yusuke Isaka). The album title and cover artwork are inspired by the film, creating a unified cinematic mood across music and visuals.

Recording engineer Kensei Ogata brings clarity and depth to the band’s layered sound, while the jacket design is once again handled by illustrator and painter Mai Kawai, continuing the visual identity from their previous release.
