TOGI 燕三条 日本製 高級 ニッパー爪切り シルバーブラック
Product Description
Founded in 1913, we have been dedicated to the art of cutting for over 100 years. Seven craftsmen in Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture, one of the three major cutlery towns in Japan, are entrusted with each process and carefully finish it. In summer, the temperature near the furnace is over 60 degrees Celsius, and the craftsmen hammer their souls into the red-hot steel.
The clipper type is used to reduce the burden of cutting. Compared to other nail clippers of the same size, the clipper enables nail cutting with less than half the grip force. The handle is covered with a soft, non-slip vinyl cap to prevent the handle from slipping. The blade shape is slanted for better visibility when cutting nails, and toenails can also be cut with ease. The sharp tip of the blade allows it to bite into the edge of the nail, making it easy to cut ingrown nails, thick nails, and deformed nails that are difficult to cut.
This product is ideal for gift-giving and presenting. "TOGI" is a traditional and creative brand that promotes Japanese techniques and traditions to the world. The package features a modern mixed design of Hokusai Katsushika's "Fugaku Sanjurokkei (Thirty-six views of Mt. Fuji) Kanagawaoki Namiura," which is appreciated not only by Japanese people but also by people overseas. This nail clipper with a long history is also a recommended gift for your loved ones. The box can be displayed with the red cushion inside.
The clipper comes with a special nail file (made of stainless steel) for finishing.
The pride of Sanjo Forge, a craftsmanship of 100 years. Enrich your everyday moments with the sharpness of the cut.
Product Specification
The blade itself is made of domestic steel produced by Kobe Steel, instead of soft materials such as stainless steel, to maintain sharpness for a long period of time. It is made of carbon steel Hi-Carbon S58C. Forming is done by hot forging, pounding out from a round bar, and edging and finishing are done by craftsmen who maintain their skillful techniques. The handle is made of SPCC material. U-bending to prevent deformation is applied to reduce weight.
