Walking On Fire is the 5th album from GLIM SPANKY, arriving nearly two years after their previous release. Showcasing a sound that reaches beyond straightforward rock, this 12-track album highlights the duo's wide musical range and evolving style. The lead track, Tokyo wa Moeteru, is produced by Toomi You and reveals a bold new side of the band.

The album also includes several notable tie-in songs, such as By Myself Again, the theme song for the film Minoriyuku; Singin' Now, featured as the theme for the TV Asahi mystery series Keishicho Sosa Ikka Cho 2020; and Circle Of Time, originally included on the NEW GENE, inspired from Phoenix compilation released for the 90th anniversary of Osamu Tezuka's birth. Also included is the digital single Konna Yogeke wa, created as a home recording during the stay-at-home period and distinguished by its fresh programmed sound.

First Press Limited Edition includes 2 CDs + DVD, featuring live audio and video from Velvet Theater 2019, recorded at Kinema Club on November 29, 2019. The performance captures the band's deep, psychedelic concept show, complete with a vintage-style liquid light show inspired by classic 1960s American West Coast live events.
