The best dried scallops, selected as the first grade of SA size certified by the Hokkaido Fisheries Federation, are packed in convenient zipper bags for preservation. The scallops are dried so thoroughly that they may feel hard, but that is a sign of quality. There are no cracks. We are offering these high quality products at a special price because of our corporate efforts. These scallops are carefully produced from high quality scallops grown in the long Sea of Okhotsk from Sarufutsu, Soya, Esashi to Tokoro. Scallops grow in size as they age, and the SA size scallops are made mainly from four-year old scallops, which are said to be the most suitable for dried scallops. Although the scallops are larger than the SAS size scallops sold on the Internet, and the purchase price is higher, we have reviewed various costs and offer them at a reasonable price.

Usage

Delicious dried scallops. It can be eaten as is or used in cooking with the meat to make soup stock. Enjoy the concentrated flavor of Hotate. To rehydrate, soak unraveled dried scallops in warm water (about 40°C) for a few minutes, cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 2~3 minutes. Please be careful not to overeat.
