Preparation Instructions
How to make the batter: In a bowl, combine the okonomiyaki flour and water, and mix with a whisk until no lumps remain.
Ingredients for 1 serving: Batter (100g), chopped cabbage (100g), 1 egg, and your choice of fillings (pork, squid, shrimp, green onions, pickled red ginger, tempura bits, etc.)
Cooking Instructions
1. In a small bowl, combine 100g of batter, cabbage, pickled red ginger, tempura bits, and other desired ingredients (excluding pork and seafood), along with an egg, and mix well.
2. Preheat a griddle or hot plate (180℃) and spread a thin layer of oil. Pour the batter into a round shape on the griddle. Place pork and seafood on top of the batter.
3. Once the bottom turns a light brown color and is firm enough to flip, turn it over and cook the other side. Flip it back to the original side and brush with okonomiyaki sauce. Add mayonnaise, bonito flakes, and green seaweed before serving.
