Raw Materials

The pen's barrel is crafted from natural cherry trees from Yoshinoyama, which were felled by Typhoon No. 21 in 2018. The transparent and elegantly shaped glass nib is created by glass artist Yoshitaka Tajima from Studio Kashitsu in Fukui Prefecture. The wooden pen rest, made from the same Senbonzakura wood as the pen barrel, features a gentle shape that cradles the glass pen delicately.
