[A thorough dissection of the legendary machine using the latest molds]
The RC166 is a machine equipped with a 6-cylinder engine that could be called the ultimate, developed by Honda to win the 250cc class of the World Road Racing GP in 1966. Despite its 250cc displacement, this 4-stroke engine has a sophisticated mechanism of an in-line 6-cylinder DOHC 4-valve, and is an ultra-high-revving type that generates a maximum output of over 60 horsepower at an incredible 18,000 rpm. Riding by master rider Mike Hailwood, the car showed its overwhelming strength by winning all 10 races it entered, and won both the rider and manufacturer titles in 1966. Furthermore, it was the driving force behind Honda's domination of all 5 classes of the World Road Racing GP that year. This legendary machine, which wrote a glorious page in Honda's racing history, is revived in 1/12 scale using the latest mold technology.
