Product Description

Celebrating 50th Anniversary! The long-awaited SA-CD Multi-channel Hybrid version of the classic album is now available for the first time in the world! Santana became a sensation in the rock scene in the early 70's with his debut album "Santana", which suddenly reached No.4 in the U.S., followed by the immortal masterpiece "Abraxas", which quickly reached No.1 in the U.S. After his shocking performance at Woodstock in 1971, Santana was joined by 17-year-old "prodigy" Neal Schon (G). In 1971, the third Santana album, "Santana III", with the addition of the then 17-year-old "prodigy" Neal Schon (G), again reached #1 in the U.S. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release of this album, the world's first SA-CD multi-hybrid edition is finally available! The original Quadraphonic master (4-channel mix) has been converted to DSD, allowing you to enjoy the surround mix in a different dimension from the usual stereo version in high sound quality, and the familiar Latin rhythms and sensual guitar of Carlos intertwine with a sound full of novelty that surrounds you as if you are listening to the performance. The CD layer is also the latest remastering from the SA-CD 2-channel high-resolution master. The packaging is a 7-inch paper-jacket version of the original Japanese Quadraphonic LP, with a reissue of the Japanese single jacket and the overseas announcement poster from that time (tentative). This is a permanent preservation edition for Santana fans all over the world! Limited Edition. Dual-layered disc (SA-CD and CD). 7-inch paper jacket. Japanese single jackets (2 copies) and overseas announcement f-poster (planned) will be included in the package. Japan original project disc.
