About the Artist
Hajime Okamoto, born in Osaka in 1942, is a renowned space producer and artist. He studied seal engraving and calligraphy in China in 1986 and founded a cultural research institute in 1991, focusing on Japanese-inspired lifestyle products. In 1998, he introduced the cat character "Kabamaru."
