Raw Materials
The soy sauce is crafted from naturally grown soybeans and wheat from the Orikasa farm, rice from the Ota farm in Hokkaido, and sea salt from Nagasaki. These ingredients are combined and aged in traditional cedar barrels, using spring water from the Koya mountain range, ensuring a product that is both pure and sustainable.
Limited in production, only 30,000 bottles of Rosso Soy Sauce are available annually, with each batch released on March 23 to commemorate the birthday of the esteemed artist and gourmet, Mr. Kitago Rosanjin. This soy sauce not only aims to preserve the culinary heritage of Japan but also embodies the philosophy of making food that is both delicious and respectful of nature.
