Yaco's water and oil resistant coating agent "Yu~" now has a new addition - the long-awaited matte coating agent "Yu~ Matte". This product expands the world of oven clay with both "glossy" and "matte" coatings. By applying to oven-fired clay and fixing with heat, water and oil resistance is achieved. After heating and fixing, it will have a matte finish with no gloss. "Yu~" is a coating agent used for waterproofing and moisture-proofing of tableware and other items that are to be filled with water. It is applied after the work is fired and heated at 100°C~120°C for about 20 minutes to fix the work. "Yu~" and "Yu~ Mat" have passed the safety standards of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, so they are safe to use on tableware.
