Product Description

The Theremin is a unique electronic musical instrument invented by Dr. Lev Theremin in 1920. It is the world's oldest electronic musical instrument and is played by moving your hand closer or further away from the antenna. This product is a simplified version of the Theremin, using only the antenna that changes the pitch. It is a revised edition of the "Otona no Kagaku Magazine Theremin mini" published in 2007, with some specification changes.

Product Specification

The Theremin kit features a built-in speaker, allowing it to produce sound immediately after assembly. It also has an output terminal for connection to an amplifier. The kit is easy to assemble with just a single screwdriver, and the assembly time is approximately 30 minutes. The Theremin operates on 4 AA alkaline batteries, which are sold separately. The kit includes a magazine full of articles on how to play the Theremin, including a course on theremins.

Updates and Enhancements

In this revised edition, the antenna has been replaced with a sturdy aluminum pipe for enhanced durability. Additionally, a ground terminal has been added to stabilize the pitch, and an external output terminal compatible with a 3.5mm stereo mini plug has been added to the back of the main unit for increased connectivity options.
