Specialized for simplified ground resistance measurement using the 2-pole method, it features an auto-ranging resistance measurement range of 200.0/2000 ohms (two ranges, automatic selection). Voltage measurement covers AC 5.0 to 300.0 V (45 to 65 Hz, true RMS, ±1% rdg ±4 dgt) and DC ±5.0 to ±300.0 V (±1% rdg ±8 dgt) with automatic AC/DC detection.
