The album includes the world premiere recording of "Symphony No. 2," first performed in Kyoto in 2021, and recorded with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra under Hisaishi's direction. Additionally, it features the acclaimed "Viola Saga," with renowned viola soloist Antoine Tamestit, which premiered in Japan in 2022.

Recording Details

Side A&B were recorded in March 2023 at the Musikverein Vienna, while Side C&D were recorded in September 2023 at the Vienna Konzerthaus.
