Product Description

This compact and user-friendly dual-band transceiver is designed to expand your communication range with advanced new features. The detachable controller allows for flexible installation, making it ideal for use in tight spaces by enabling the main unit to be placed separately from the controller. The device supports DR (D-STAR Repeater) functionality, allowing for easy D-STAR operation by simply setting the repeater or target station and transmitting. With GPS enabled, the nearest repeater is automatically listed, making it convenient to operate even in unfamiliar locations. The unit also supports both analog and digital repeater search functions. Terminal and Access Point modes are available, enabling D-STAR communication via the internet even when you are out of range of a D-STAR repeater. By connecting the transceiver to a Windows PC or Android device, you can use it as a gateway (Terminal mode) or as an access point for other D-STAR radios (Access Point mode). The full-dot display provides clear and detailed information, including kanji characters and GPS position data, for enhanced readability. The backlight color can be customized with four options (white, amber, blue, green) to match your vehicle or room interior. An automatic night mode adjusts brightness based on the set time, ensuring excellent visibility day or night. Integration with iOS and Android devices is supported through dedicated apps, allowing for photo and message exchange, map integration, D-PRS operation, and convenient DR function settings from your smartphone or tablet.

• To use Terminal/Access Point modes, an optional data communication cable is required.
• An internet connection with a global IPv4 address is necessary for Terminal/Access Point operation. For Android devices using mobile networks, the device must be assigned a global IPv4 address.

• A different radio license is required for the access point side compared to the client side.
• Simultaneous access by multiple stations to the access point is not supported.
